Smile like you mean it

medieval

Alabaster lies, wrapped in silk,
dress wounds hidden from view
from all who seek to comment on what
they do not understand.

Smile dear, and clap your hands
to spur the fairies into existence,
for the figments of fantasy are needed

now more than ever.
